Named Dulaiwarrung in the indigenous language dialect Woiwarrung-Taungurung, platypus have been occupying the Jamieson and Goulburn rivers for a long, long time. The original observers of Australian riverside ‘serenity’.
Our elusive resident platypus, as well as our commitment to Australian manufacturing, made the platypus an easy choice to include in our Kayak Australia logo.
