With pick up and drop off included in this kayak hire, the Goulburn River adventure starts at Skipworth Campground. Taking paddlers between towering hills, and past quaint campsites. Gentle, grade one rapids separate long stretches of calm, meandering water. If paddlers are eager they can bypass “The Island” pickup. Float right on through the joining of the Goulburn and Jamieson Rivers. And make a beeline for the Jamieson Brewery. 2-4 hour of estimated paddling time.
Lake Eildon adventure
Explore the shoreline of Lake Eildon in your own time, your own way with lake kayak rental. Launching from the Jamieson Boat Ramp, paddlers can choose their own adventure, and set their own time limit. Explore the lake and find a quit bit of shoreline for a picnic. Or, make a beeline for the Jamieson Brewery. Paddlers can be collected from the boat ramp after a return loop, or picked up from a table on the brewery’s back deck overlooking the lake. A minimum paddling time of around 1hr will get paddlers to the brewery. But the Kayak Australia team is available for pickup flexibly throughout the afternoon. This placid lake adventure is perfect for beginners and families.
